On Saturday, August 26, the Westside Future Fund officially launched the new Westside Volunteer Corps - a partnership with United Way of Greater Atlanta - with a "Day of Service" on Atlanta's Westside. The Chick-fil-A Foundation is proud to be the founding sponsor of the Corps. Nearly 400 people from across Atlanta joined us at 10 volunteer sites throughout the Westside community, participating in activities from painting murals to planting gardens to making snack packs for students. Thank you to all our Chick-fil-A staff and family who came out to show our Westside neighbors that we care.
Watch a clip on WSB-TV about the day.
