On Wednesday, November 30th, our own Rodney Bullard, Chick-fil-A’s Vice President of Community Affairs, appeared on WXIA-TV’s(11Alive) Atlanta & Co. On the show, he shared with viewers information about Chick-fil-A’s partnership with the station’s annual Can-A-Thon.
In its 34th year, the Can-A-Thon is a day-long food drive event that seeks to reduce food insecurity for those living in metro Atlanta. Food insecurity affects many across metro Atlanta, with thousands of people going without a reliable source of nutritious food. 11Alive and its partners want to change that reality.
With the help of schools, nonprofits and metro Atlanta residents, this year’s Can-A-Thon will donate thousands of canned food items to people and families in need. Rodney announced on Atlanta & Co. that the Chick-fil-A’s Community Affairs will provide Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits to all volunteers at each Can-A-Thon donation site.
Chick-fil-A is proud to partner with and serve 11Alive as they work to change lives!
