Beginning in 2020, the Chick-fil-A Foundation is introducing a more focused giving approach to deepen its giving to a smaller number of organizations in three primary areas. We are excited to announce we have committed $9 million to the following three initiatives for 2020:

  • Education

    Education

To support education, we are expanding our partnership with Junior Achievement USA (JA). JA offers kindergarten to 12th grade programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. The Chick-fil-A Foundation has been an ongoing supporter of Junior Achievement since 2013, having donated more than $7 million.

  • Homelessness

    Homelessness

To address youth homelessness, we are partnering with Covenant House International. Covenant House reaches 70,000 youth each year and has helped transform and save the lives of more than a million homeless, runaway and trafficked young people. The Chick-fil-A Foundation previously named Covenant House International and Covenant House California as 2019 True Inspiration Award winners.

  • Hunger

    Hunger

To fight the cycle of hunger, we will support more than 120 communities by dedicating $25,000 to a local food bank at each new Chick-fil-A opening. In addition to these donations, Chick-fil-A restaurants have helped and will continue to help alleviate hunger through the Shared Table program.
